Every time a poet invites me into a dreamscape, it gets my attention. Dreams are so mysterious. Entering into another person's dreamscape--into their subconscious mind-- is always interesting.
And I love all the imagery of God, who is like a gushing spring, a light-bearer, and especially one who transforms failures into sweetness. Great choice, Brian--this will be fun to memorize.
That’s my favorite section as well. So much to unpack there, I’m excited to sit with this one this month. If you end up wanting to memorize, I hope you’ll join in the chat!
Brian, I am not at all familiar with this poet, and I loved the poem. The last 4 lines reminded me of a poem I wrote many years ago about walking with God. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful work with us.
I’m happy it resonated with you…I don’t gravitate too much to poems with “God” specifically named, for a while host of reasons but this one is too good 🙂

Excellent!
There is such a spark in these verses, love the beehive imagery especially. Thanks Brian.
